Our Story

reFocus Afrika is motivated by a deep commitment to fostering positive change and unity across the Afrikan continent. Recognizing the persistent challenges faced by people of Afrikan descent globally, it becomes apparent that there is a need for a complementary non-profit initiative like Race2Build Afrika. The decision to create Race2Build Afrika, Inc. stems from a profound understanding of the lack of institutional representation for diaspora contributions and of the racial injustices and inequalities experienced by individuals of Afrikan descent within the broader Afrikan diaspora.

RACE2BUILD AFRIKA, Inc. is a movement to mobilize the global community to invest and contribute to the development of Afrika and to holistically address the racial barriers and disparities through cultural exchange and business internalization. By establishing a non-profit arm, reFocus Afrika aims to extend its impact beyond geographical borders and delve into the social and racial dimensions of empowerment. Race2Build Afrika’s vision aligns with the broader goal of creating a world where individuals of Afrikan descent can engage in global affairs and business without the hindrance of racial barriers.

reFocus Afrika seeks to tackle multifaceted challenges, recognizing that social and racial dimensions are integral components of the development process. Together, these initiatives weave a comprehensive narrative of positive change, inclusivity, and unity, echoing the belief that addressing racial injustices is fundamental to building a brighter and more prosperous future for all individuals of Afrikan descent.
